Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in estimating competitive bid projects and conceptual budgeting.
Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficient in public speaking, coaching, and mentoring.
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and attention to detail for accurate cost estimations.
Excellent mathematical and communication skills are essential for collaborating with project managers and field teams.
Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with construction terminology, especially in carpentry and interiors, are crucial.
A strong work ethic and adaptability in fast-paced environments will ensure your success and positive contribution to projects.
Must be able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

Organizing estimating activities
Reviewing and analyzing project documents
Developing project conditions
Collaborating with the Chief Estimator or Director of Preconstruction
Meticulously analyze project plans, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring all details align with our high standards.
Collaborating with project managers and field teams, you will gather vital information to craft accurate material and labor estimates, making your influence felt throughout each construction phase.
Preparing and maintaining cost databases, helping the team stay competitive while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Engaging in regular meetings, you'll share insights and innovative ideas that drive project efficiency in carpentry and interiors.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, ensuring our estimating practices not only meet but set benchmarks within the construction industry.
