About The Position

The Carpenter, Maintenance performs carpentry work needed to keep building woodwork and equipment in good repair, including bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, and doors. Duties include examining blueprints to determine structure dimensions; laying out and constructing light-gauge metal framing; hanging, taping, finishing, and sanding drywall; laying out and installing acoustical ceiling grid and tile; and installing ceramic tile. The role also performs snow removal during inclement weather, which may occur on holidays, weekends, and evenings, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, or be able to obtain and maintain one. The position requires three years of directly related experience and attention to detail while working in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience is preferred. Basic computer skills are required, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

Three years of directly related experience.
U.S. citizenship.
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Basic computer knowledge, including the ability to use email, the internet, and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
