About The Position

If you have experience with construction, installation and fabrication of form structures of wood, patent form systems, or a combination of both, and if you're committed to safety and quality, this opportunity could be a great fit for you! Additionally, the role qualifies for per diem when per diem requirements are met. SUMMARY The Carpenter constructs, erects, installs, fabricates, dismantles, and repairs structures, formwork, and fixtures of wood, metal forms, and associated accessories.

Requirements

One to four years of experience as an Apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter
Ability to complete work accurately and follow all safety procedures
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Organized and self-motivated
Pre-employment drug testing, alcohol screening, and background check are required as a condition of employment.
Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy
Ability to pass physical examination as required
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and maintain balance
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at elevated heights or in confined spaces
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance recommended for heavier items
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to work on uneven surfaces such as dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, or gravel

Responsibilities

Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OSHA standards
Read and interpret drawings
Cut and shape materials, and join them with nails, screws, bolts, or glue
Check completed units to ensure they are level, square, plumb, and meet required specifications
Build and assemble concrete forms
Build and assemble shelters for welding and other weather sensitive work
Attend required safety and toolbox meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
