About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our in-house construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all phases of carpentry, from framing to finished work, and will be committed to producing high-quality craftsmanship. You will work on a variety of projects within our diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs., standing for long periods, and working at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of professional carpentry experience is preferred.
  • Masonry skills and experience helpful, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes, and precisely cut materials to specified measurements.
  • Install drywall, acoustic ceilings, and various floor finishes.
  • Perform accurate site layout and elevation for new work using a transit and building level.
  • Form and pour concrete for foundations and other structures.
  • Install and maintain door frames, doors, and hardware.
  • Hang, finish, and repair drywall.
  • Install steel beams, lintels, and reinforcing materials.
  • Perform surface preparation and painting as needed.
  • Assemble, erect, and disassemble scaffolding safely.
  • Operate scissor and boom lifts to perform work at elevated heights.
  • Conduct demolition work to prepare sites for new construction.
  • Adhere to all company standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Follow directions from the Foreman and/or Site Superintendent.
  • Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
