About The Position

Bond Industries, a subsidiary of AWP, has been a trusted name in the design and manufacture of medical, retail, and fitness furniture for over 40 years. They are looking for reliable and skilled workers to join their growing team immediately. This is a full-time position at their facility in Campbell Heights, Surrey BC, with shifts starting at 6 AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Post secondary training or apprenticeship hours in carpentry
3-5 years of experience in woodworking
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23kg)
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and work under pressure
Detail-oriented with basic math and problem-solving skills
Good verbal communications skills
Reliable
Have own transportation
Available for shifts starting 6AM

Responsibilities

Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing
Operate woodworking machines including saws, milling and sanding machines safely and efficiently
Ensure that products meet project specifications, making adjustments as necessary
Perform general labour tasks, including clean-up duties and materials handling
Read and interpret basic drawings or production instructions
Assemble products according to specifications
Maintain company's quality, safety, and productivity standards
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg) as required
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
