The Carpenter will be responsible for performing both residential and commercial reconstruction tasks following various property damages, completing rough and finish carpentry, and restoring properties to their original condition. This role offers a dynamic work environment with diverse projects, teamwork, and the satisfaction of helping customers rebuild.

Requirements

Two (2) or more years of carpentry or general construction experience preferred.
Experience with rough and finish carpentry.
Working knowledge of drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Reliable transportation.
Basic hand tools required.
Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for daily documentation.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Restoration industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
Frame walls, install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry.
Install drywall, tape, texture, paint, flooring, and other finish materials.
Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and general construction repairs as needed.
Read work orders and complete projects according to company quality standards.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Communicate professionally with customers and fellow team members.
Utilize company mobile technology to document work performed and project updates.
Travel between multiple job sites as needed.
Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Support teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
