About The Position

Copper Point Group (A Lamoreaux Design & Construction Company) is seeking a Carpenter for resort and residential projects in the Cedar City area. The role involves residential and commercial building construction, including new construction and remodels. Candidates must have at least five years of carpentry construction experience and be at a journeyman level or equivalent. Desired skills include exterior siding and roofing, framing and interior finishing, log and timber work, portable sawmill operation, and quality fit and finish.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in carpentry.
• Journeyman level or equivalent.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Nice To Haves

• Metal siding and roofing experience.
• Board and batten and James Hardie siding experience.
• Framing, insulation, and sheetrock experience.
• Heavy log truss work and heavy log/timber layout and framing experience.
• Log timber skills using a chainsaw, Sawsall, and grinder saw.
• Portable sawmill operation for log preparation.
• Trim work and finish carpentry experience.
• Ability to deliver quality fit and finish.

Responsibilities
