As an experienced Carpenter at Iconica, you'll play a key role in bringing our projects to life. From layout and framing to high-end finish work, you'll be trusted to work independently and alongside a skilled team to deliver exceptional craftsmanship on a variety of commercial projects.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial and custom construction
  • Proven ability to work independently while consistently delivering high-quality craftsmanship
  • Experience with stick-built and prefabricated wood construction
  • Experience with interior metal stud framing
  • Experience with commercial finish carpentry and door hardware installation
  • Familiarity with construction equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and blueprints
  • Strong layout and jobsite setup skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete rough and finish carpentry using wood, steel, plastics, and composite materials
  • Install doors, windows, frames, cabinetry, countertops, millwork, and other finish components with precision and attention to detail
  • Install commercial door hardware, including closers, panic devices, and locksets
  • Fabricate and install walls, ceilings, soffits, and stairs using both wood and metal framing
  • Perform project layout using digital transits and laser levels
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
  • Mentor and support less experienced carpenters as opportunities arise
