About The Position

Build Various Sized Wooden Crates: i.e., nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers. Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch. Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates. May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground. This requires use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling. Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors. Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks. Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures. Use of Equipment and When to Involve a Supervisor: Follow all procedures, policies and understand equipment use, before use. To ensure safety, report equipment defects and/or maintenance needs to your supervisor. To help protect yourself and others, please report any unsafe acts to your supervisor.
