About The Position

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. HIRING – ENTRY-LEVEL LABORERS and CARPENTERS. If you are looking for an entry-level LABORER or CARPENTER position, please consider a career at The Hayner Hoyt Corporation. Carpenters/Laborers will work on commercial construction projects, and positions require travel to sites throughout Central NY. Responsibilities range from performing site preparation to building demolition; from traffic flagging to installation of temporary protection; from hanging doors and installation of door hardware to installation of millwork, cabinetry, and countertops. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have an active driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to take direction well and work within a team environment
Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule and extended nontraditional hours, including evenings and/or weekends.
Ability to read, write, and understand directions and follow standard operating procedures.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in the commercial construction industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field are highly desired.
OSHA 10 a plus
