About The Position

The Installer is responsible for accurately and professionally installing Universal Windows Direct products at job sites in accordance with company procedures and to customers’ satisfaction. The role also helps maintain the company’s positive image, brand, and reputation. Installations include windows, doors, siding, and gutters, with most of the business involving replacement windows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in-home renovation experience.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using a tape measure, level, and combination square.
• Own equipment and ability to use power tools such as a drill and jigsaw.
• General liability and workers’ compensation insurance, or ability to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation to safely transport products to job locations.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with window installation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remodeling expertise in windows, doors, siding, and gutters, including replacement windows.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when interacting with customers.
• Respect customers’ property and leave work areas clean.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork, photos, and other documentation.
