About The Position

As a Silvi Materials Maintenance Handyman, you will complete numerous tasks involved in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. By performing assigned tasks of maintaining and repairing the interior or exterior of company premises, you will ensure that our facilities are in top-tier condition! You will demonstrate initiative, responsibility, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced, fluid business environment. You'll be an integral part of our operations team, completing numerous and simultaneous tasks in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting. You will perform maintenance and repairs in a well-organized manner, obtain, store, record, safeguard, and properly use equipment, materials, and supplies, and maintain a safe, clean working area. The ability to drive a vehicle is also required.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
At least 2 years of similar work experience.
Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Graduation from a technical or skills trades school preferred but not required.
