About The Position

Amentum is looking for a Carpenter Foreman to join our team in Springfield, VA! The Carpenter Forman performs carpentry duties necessary to maintain building structures and finishes in good repair. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• Minimum of fifteen years of carpentry experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with using Archibus system.

Responsibilities

• Repairing or installing new walls, partitions, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, and systems furniture.
• Drywall patching, painting, and adjusting and installing door hardware.
• Planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions.
• Using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments.
• Making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
• Selecting materials necessary for the work.
• Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
