About The Position

The Carpenter Foreman will champion and comply with all company safety requirements to ensure zero injuries. This role involves overseeing and assisting in all aspects of construction during the project lifecycle, coordinating the activities of the construction crew and subcontractors, and providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members. The Foreman will accurately read blueprints and project drawings, ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols, and review project plans to ensure proper execution. They will also coordinate with the project team, design team, and/or owner to address challenges and changes, perform rough and finish carpentry work, manage and maintain ICRA containments on healthcare projects, and inspect subcontractor work. In partnership with Field Operations, the Foreman will determine the sequence of activities for the project site and identify opportunities for additional self-perform work.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Previous experience as a Carpenter Foreman or General Foreman on commercial construction jobsites
Knowledge of how to safely and proficiently use hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the activities of the construction crew and subcontractors.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members as needed.
Accurately read blueprints and project drawings to understand project requirements.
Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
Coordinate with the project team, design team, and/or owner to address challenges and changes, as needed.
Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, demolition, doors, frames, and hardware, and other tasks as needed.
Manage and maintain ICRA containments when working on active healthcare projects.
Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with project specifications.
In partnership with Field Operations, determine sequence of activities for the project site.
Identify areas for additional self-perform work on project sites in partnership with Field Operations and Field Operations Leaders.
