About The Position

Loureiro Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our Heavy Civil Construction team. This position is responsible for leading carpentry crews and performing concrete formwork operations on commercial and heavy civil construction projects throughout Connecticut. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and experience in concrete construction. We take pride in self-performing complex projects using in-house personnel and equipment, and we’re committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Requirements

• 5+ years of concrete carpentry experience
• Experience with concrete formwork systems, foundations, walls, slabs, and structural concrete
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of safe work practices and OSHA requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment

Nice To Haves

• Prior foreman or supervisory experience preferred
• Carpenters Union membership preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews on heavy civil and commercial construction projects
• Perform and oversee concrete formwork, including foundations, walls, slabs, and structural concrete
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Coordinate daily work activities, materials, and equipment needs
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures
• Wear PPE at all times and report incidents, accidents, and near misses
• Collaborate with project teams in a fast-paced construction environment
