Requirements

Previous experience in interior commercial systems and exterior metal stud framing and sheathing installations is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman
Must be at least 18 years old
Possess knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
Physically able to perform assigned tasks
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
Must have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

OSHA 30
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable.
Experience with exterior claddings project oversight is desirable.
Experience with interior acoustical and specialty ceiling systems is desirable.
Proficiency in Procore software is desirable.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out
Use look‐ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix
Review drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety
Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co‐workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation
Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently
Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Performs other related duties as assigned
Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation
Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen
