Finish Carpenter at Shiel Sexton A Finish Carpenter at Shiel Sexton performs commercial and industrial construction and remodeling, interior systems, interior and exterior finish, blueprint reading, scaffolding, and safety with a strong focus on Millwork Installation, Doors & Hardware, and Bathroom Accessories.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of carpentry experience, commercial experience preferred.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

Preferred OSHA 10 certification, construction-specific

Responsibilities

Completes tasks with close attention to detail.
Demonstrates ability to contribute value in a team setting.
Achieves tangible results in the face of complex problems.
Assures that the Carpentry crew acts with integrity and employs ethical behavior and practices.
Ability to effectively communicate through verbal communication.
Layout including building lines, elevations, walls, and partition layout.
Safety-minded working with scaffold systems, shoring, weather protection, and installation of fall protection systems.
Able to read physical blueprints as well as digital (Procore experience preferred)
