About The Position

Redmax Events builds branded displays, photo moments, and custom features for major sporting events, trade shows, festivals, and brand experiences. They focus on ideation, fabrication, and craftsmanship to bring events to life. Requirements

Highly skilled in carpentry, including laminating, formica, and framing.
Proficient in finished shop work.
Strong skills with table saws and woodworking equipment, with the precision for clean non-90° cuts and complex joinery.
Ability to handle low-voltage LED work or possess sufficient experience in event builds or custom fabrication to learn it quickly.
Ability to apply knowledge rapidly to unusual projects with tight turnarounds.
Comfortable with the concept that every project is different and enjoys solving new challenges.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience in hands-on shop work.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in scenic, trade show, theatrical, museum, exhibit, or event fabrication.
Experience with laminate finishing.
Experience with custom millwork.
Experience with CNC.
Ability to weld.
Ability to solder.

Responsibilities

Build unique one-off event features such as photo moments, branded displays, scenic pieces, trade show features, and custom activations.
Transform drawings, shop direction, and rough ideas into finished work that is visually compelling and memorable.
Problem-solve unique challenges in builds when ideas are creative, deadlines are tight, and clear solutions are not immediately obvious.
Ensure custom builds are structurally sound, have clean surfaces, fit well, and incorporate low-voltage LED details when required.
Maintain momentum on fast-turnaround shop work for diverse and varied builds.
Learn new skills across all aspects of building.
Assist in training newer or less specialized team members as the company grows.
