About The Position

Constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment in yards and on industrial and commercial property. Works with materials including wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall, using carpentry tools to repair and erect structures. The role is performed in a construction environment with changing outdoor weather conditions and may involve irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, a fit-for-duty medical examination, and a background check.
• Able to move about a construction or industrial site and stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; access may be at heights exceeding 200 feet.
• Able to work in confined and cluttered spaces and on uneven surfaces.
• Able to complete tasks in noisy and dusty environments.
• May be required to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across a construction or industrial site.
• Able to work irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
