About The Position

Constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment in yards and on industrial and commercial properties. Works with materials including wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall, using carpentry tools to repair and erect structures. The role is performed in a construction environment with outdoor weather exposure and may involve access to elevated, confined, cluttered, noisy, dusty, or uneven work areas.

Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, a fit-for-duty medical examination, and a background check.
• Ability to move about a construction or industrial site and stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Ability to work in changing outdoor weather conditions and in noisy and dusty environments.
• Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; access equipment or work areas using ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, or scaffolds, potentially at heights exceeding 200 feet.
• Ability to move and work in confined and cluttered areas and on uneven surfaces.
• Ability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across a construction or industrial site, as required.
