About The Position

Cargo Warehouse Supervisor Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the station. Assures that the operations of the facility are in accordance with the controlling authorities and agencies’ policies and regulations. This will be accomplished by performing the duties personally or through facility personnel.

Requirements

  • 2+ years cargo handling experience in warehouse environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and effectively delegate
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Must possess a valid work permit for employment in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations during assigned shifts, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate cargo handling.
  • Well versed in all aspects of international cargo handling, warehouse buildup and breakdown.
  • Monitors and upholds service-level performance and other predefined KPIs.
  • Leads, directs, and motivates employee workforce by means of basic management skill sets, including but not limited to- employee counselling, coaching, progressive discipline, and management frameworks.
  • Hold employees accountable for near-misses, incidents, accidents, and other failures against policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct briefings and provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) as necessary.
  • Supports audits, inspections, and change management as required.
  • Ensure effective and sustainable implementation of corrective measures.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely fashion.
  • Maintain professional communication and coordination with airlines, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
  • Observe and enforce employee safety and welfare in accordance with dnata Cargo and government policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Firm understanding of all associated regulatory requirements and customs documentation.
  • Ensures adherence to safety and security procedures relating to TSA, USCBP, FAA, USDA and other regulatory or company regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management to support operational and business requirements.
