Requirements

  • 1-3 years Supervisor experience preferred
  • Effective people management and planning / organizing skills, customer focused and analytical with good judgment, able to work under pressure and a team player.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer focus and quality awareness
  • Computer proficiency, Office, Word/Excel
  • Must be able to work flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers to ensure effective cargo operations.
  • Ensure the appropriate standards of safety and security are achieved with corporate requirements, government legislation and international best practice.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all cargo staff adheres to the company policies and procedures, upholding safety and security.
  • Ensure cargo & mail is delivered on time
  • Handle critical issues through liaison with senior managers.
  • Assume responsibility for accident investigation & reporting.
  • Establishes a culture that promotes safety through daily observation, shift briefings/safety meetings, routine audits, training, and documented safety procedures.
  • Conducts oneself in such a way as to become the benchmark for the Station in integrity, fairness, personal attitude, and respect for others.
  • Can meet the Station's attendance standards.
  • Ensure drivers perform both pre- and post-trip inspections and bring any issues or concerns to the Managers for attention.
