About The Position

As a Caregiver at a Sevita group home, you will support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. You will build meaningful relationships, encourage participation in the community and favorite activities, and assist with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Sevita describes the role as rewarding work supported by leaders who trust employees to take initiative and do what is right for participants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
