About The Position
24 Hour Home Care is hiring a compassionate caregiver to support children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Orange County, including Anaheim Hills, Orange, Anaheim, and nearby cities. The caregiver provides attentive, respectful care that helps clients live safely and independently. The role requires following each client’s care plan, communicating updates as needed, and working independently with minimal supervision. Caregivers may assist with personal care, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and errands or transportation as needed. Assignment pay varies based on client location and services required; the expected California pay rate for current assignments is $16.90–$19 per hour. Scheduling is flexible based on caregiver availability, skillset, and client needs. Paid orientation and training are provided. The ideal candidate is proactive, empathetic, adaptable, and able to solve problems while anticipating client needs. Candidates must provide two caregiving references, valid identification that complies with I-9 requirements, and proof of a negative TB test. The company covers the full cost of a TB skin test for eligible candidates. A reliable commute is preferred, or candidates should plan to relocate before their start date.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
- Prepare meals.
