About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring experienced caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one home care for seniors in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by supporting daily routines, personal care, mobility, medication reminders, meals, housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments. Open shifts include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, with flexible scheduling based on availability.

Requirements

• At least one year of senior care or caregiving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable owned or leased vehicle.
• Proof of current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass state and nationwide background checks.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and drug screening.
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and passionate about making a difference for seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and support with daily routines.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, walking, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with grocery shopping and personal errands.
• Drive clients to and from appointments when needed.
• Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
