About The Position

Join the KFI Team in Lincoln! KFI is a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full, independent lives within their communities. We are seeking energetic, creative, and compassionate individuals to join our growing team. At KFI, no two days are the same, and your ideas and work will have a significant impact. This role involves supporting a 53-year-old man in Lincoln who is looking for a creative, fun, and flexible support person. He enjoys sports, music (karaoke, live concerts), dining out, watching TV, and playing games. He is social and wants a support person who will help him make decisions about his life, maintain control, and focus on him, only using their phone for emergencies. The support person will assist with household tasks, budgeting, grocery lists, meal ideas, and maintaining contact with friends. The goal is to support him in living the best life possible.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Valid Maine Driver’s License (Required)
A Registered and Insured Vehicle (Required)
Evening and weekend availability
