About The Position

AMADA Senior Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors, including veterans. The role involves supporting clients with daily living activities and helping them live safely and comfortably at home. Caregivers must be willing to travel within a 25-mile radius of their home and attend orientation at the Jasper, Texas office. The position is part-time, with 4–30 hours per week and available 4-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts. Day and morning shifts are available; flexible scheduling may include weekends and overnights. Travel of up to 25% is required.

Requirements

• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Be willing to work with both male and female clients.
• Be able to travel within a 25-mile radius.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Be able to perform all essential job duties.

• Two or more years of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, including walks, transfers, and appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Observe and report unusual incidents.
• Support clients with daily living activities.
