About The Position

Prestige Companion and Homemakers, LLC is seeking energetic and compassionate caregivers to provide personalized home health care assistance to clients in Prospect, CT. The role supports clients with daily activities and helps ensure their safety, comfort, independence, and dignity. Caregivers provide compassionate assistance tailored to clients’ individual needs, including support for older adults and people with disabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or people requiring memory care.
• Familiarity with home care agency operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and patient transfers as needed for client safety.
• Experience working in a client’s home and understanding of home and community care standards.
• Compassionate caregiving skills, patience, attention to detail, and excellent client communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Observe vital signs, provide medication reminders, and promptly report changes in a client’s health.
• Provide specialized care.
• Document records accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Use safe patient transfer methods, including Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, and help maintain a safe living environment.
• Follow home healthcare regulations and protocols while delivering compassionate patient care.
