About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring caregivers to provide person-centered support to residents in its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Shakopee. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized care and support. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. Ongoing support and development are provided by experienced leadership.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability for the NOC shift, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Must be available to work every other weekend for all shifts, part-time and full-time.
• Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• CNA certification; CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR caregivers are sought.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
