About The Position
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to safely assist clients with mobility and physical support needs
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
- Non-smoker preferred for this assignment
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Experience providing incontinence care is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Prepare simple meals
- Support clients with incontinence care
- Help maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Assist with scheduling physician and laboratory appointments
- Provide mobility assistance and safely support client transfers as needed
