About The Position
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license, car, and active car insurance
- Ability to safely assist with client mobility and weight support
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare simple meals
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Schedule appointments with physicians and labs
- Support client with mobility and physical assistance as needed
