About The Position

AMADA Senior Care is hiring part-time caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care to seniors, including veterans. The role requires travel to clients within a 25-mile radius of the caregiver’s home, with travel of up to 25% required. Orientation is held at the company’s Jasper, Texas office. Work schedules are flexible, with shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours and 4–30 hours per week. Day and morning shifts are available, as well as flexible scheduling that may include weekends and overnights.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius of home.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform all essential job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of caregiving experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, including walks, transfers, and appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Observe and report unusual incidents.
• Support clients with daily living activities.
