About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes in the North Port area. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, with shift availability based on client needs and many opportunities during weekday daytime hours. Caregivers provide respectful, dependable support and follow individualized care plans while communicating professionally with clients’ families and the office team. The position offers compensation of $17–$19 per hour, initial and ongoing training, performance incentives, travel reimbursement, career growth opportunities, and support from a friendly office team. The local franchise is independently owned and operated; hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Clean driving record.
- Access to a smartphone and email.
Nice To Haves
- Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
- Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance and help clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare meals.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
