About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers—including Homemakers, PCs, HHAs, and CNAs—to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Northampton, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The work helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, independent, and connected in their own homes. Experienced caregivers and people beginning a career in home care are encouraged to apply. HHA or CNA certification is welcome where applicable, and free training is available to qualified applicants without certification.

The role offers $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Scheduling opportunities include flexible and consistent scheduling, 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend work. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
• Provide friendly companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Prepare meals according to clients' preferences and dietary needs.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run essential errands when needed.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
• Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Provide respectful and compassionate care.
