About The Position

BrightStar Care of Seminole County is hiring a Caregiver to provide home care for a geriatric client in Lake Mary. The listed assignment is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for weekday, weekend, and evening assignments, including in-home and facility-based work. The caregiver supports client hygiene and daily activities, mobility, and a safe environment for quality patient care.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training; virtual courses are not accepted.
• TB skin test dated within the past year or chest X-ray dated within the past five years.
• Background check.
• Reliable car and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and hygiene care, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, and toileting.
• Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
• Assist the client with active and passive mobility work as defined by the plan of care.
• Assist patients with walking and outdoor activities.
• Promote a safe environment for quality patient care by following established policies, procedures, and standards.
