About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care that helps seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. Requirements

At least 1 year of caregiving or home care experience; required.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful, compassionate manner and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license; required.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the USA.
Must be very reliable.
Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping when needed.
Perform light housekeeping clients cannot complete independently, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Follow the care plan.
