About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in the Deming Area. As a Caregiver, you will be the heart of our business, building meaningful relationships with clients, bringing smiles to their faces, and being the highlight of their day. You will provide essential support to seniors and adults with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Requirements

  • High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate.
  • Successful completion of a written Competency Evaluation for Homemaker Companion.
  • Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Current and valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Honest, likable, energetic, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to get along and verbally communicate easily with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Spend less than 20% of work time on general household work during each shift.
  • Provide companionship during activities such as accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assisting with hobbies.
  • Prepare meals and run errands such as grocery shopping.
  • Provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.
  • Assist in caring for a vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities.
