About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in the Alamogordo Area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in building meaningful relationships with our clients, bringing smiles to their faces, and being the highlight of their day. Requirements

High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate.
Must have successfully completed a written Competency Evaluation as a Homemaker Companion.
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
Current and valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Spending less than 20% of work time on general household work during each shift.
Providing companionship during activities such as accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assisting with hobbies.
Preparing meals and running errands such as grocery shopping.
Providing care for seniors and adults with disabilities.
