About The Position

Silverado Thousand Oaks is hiring a part-time Caregiver for its NOC shift. Caregivers provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on compassionate assistance, relationship-building, and helping residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position involves active work, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must have reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards, communicate effectively in spoken and written English, and be comfortable working around animals and pets. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Relevant caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
