About The Position

Caregivers at Sevita help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. They support participants in taking part in their communities and enjoying favorite activities, and help them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements

• No high school diploma is required.
• No prior experience is required.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in their community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants’ developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
