About The Position

Village Caregiving is hiring Caregivers in Craig, Montana. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and personal care, including medication, mobility, hygiene, exercises, shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. They also communicate with clients’ caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members about conditions and treatment plans, report unusual incidents, and respond responsibly to emergencies. Part-time and full-time hours are available. Pay is $20–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Must be respectful and compassionate, with a good bedside manner.
Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Help clients take prescribed medication.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home or outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Do clients’ shopping or accompany them when needed.
Perform light housekeeping clients cannot complete on their own, including preparing meals.
Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members.
Report unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
