About The Position

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is currently searching for a Caregiver with Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Staff certifications to work in West Chester, PA or West Grove, PA and nearby areas. This role offers consistency and continuity in assignments, allowing caregivers to potentially work with the same clients regularly. The company is looking for individuals who are people-oriented and wish to make a positive impact on the lives of others while maintaining a stable income.

Requirements

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
