About The Position

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide non-medical home care services to clients in West Chester, PA, West Grove, PA, and surrounding areas. This role offers consistency and continuity in assignments, allowing caregivers to work with the same clients regularly. The ideal candidate is a people-person who wants to make a difference in the lives of seniors while enjoying a stable and rewarding career.

Requirements

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
