Male Caregivers Needed ASAP - Philadelphia
About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking experienced male caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas, including clients who prefer male caregivers. The role focuses on building trust, providing comfort, and helping seniors maintain independence and dignity in their own homes. Caregivers provide companionship and emotional support; assistance with personal care, meals, medication reminders, mobility, and daily activities; light housekeeping and laundry; and errands or transportation when needed. They monitor clients’ well-being and communicate concerns. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to complete required background checks and onboarding paperwork.
- Must provide proof of vaccination.
Nice To Haves
- HHA, CNA, or PCA experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities.
- Assist with errands and transportation when required.
- Monitor clients’ well-being and communicate any concerns.
