About The Position
We are actively hiring for an overnight Caregiver to provide support for an older adult in Ames, Iowa. This role involves helping the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home. The ideal candidate is attentive, compassionate, and experienced with hands-on personal care, providing reassurance and overnight supervision. Home Instead is a care partner that focuses on one-on-one care, supporting both clients and Care Professionals.
Requirements
- Experience providing hands-on personal care
- Dependable, attentive, and comfortable working overnight shifts
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to treating others with dignity and respect
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive overnight supervision to ensure client safety and comfort
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, hygiene, dressing, repositioning, and other activities of daily living as needed
- Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support throughout the night
- Respond promptly to the client's needs while promoting dignity and independence
- Document any significant overnight observations and changes in condition

- Awake Overnight: $17.00/hour
