About The Position

Home Instead is seeking a Part-Time Evening Caregiver to provide one-on-one care and support to an older adult in the comfort of their home. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships while making a positive impact every shift. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys helping older adults maintain their independence.

Requirements

Experience providing hands-on personal care
Confident assisting with transfers and mobility
Dependable, compassionate, and enjoys working one-on-one with older adults
Communicates with patience, professionalism, and respect
Has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

Nice To Haves

This position does not require experience with advanced care tasks such as mechanical lifts or extensive bed care. However, applicants should be comfortable providing personal care and safely assisting with transfers.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
Assist with hands-on personal care, including toileting, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
Safely assist with transfers and mobility
Prepare light meals and assist with light housekeeping as needed
Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
