Part-time Caregiver - Adams County, PA (Flexible shifts)
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The role offers flexible, consistent scheduling, with a minimum of 20 hours of work per week and the possibility of additional hours if desired. Caregivers may work shifts ranging from 2 hours to 10 or more hours, on weekdays or weekends; live-in work may also be available under a separate pay range. The company says caregivers often work with one or two consistent clients and emphasizes a supportive work environment focused on empathy, integrity, and dedication. Caregivers help clients remain safe and comfortable at home by assisting with errands, light housekeeping, transportation, personal care, and meal preparation. Compensation is $15.50–$17.50 per hour based on experience and shift, with a $5 gas supplement for each shift and a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive. Additional offerings include mileage reimbursement when transporting clients, paid training, yearly pay increases, and insurance options.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
- At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
- Family caregiving experience is accepted.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance.
- Willingness to undergo criminal background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus.
