About The Position
Amada Senior Care is actively hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers in Bellaire, Texas, who are willing to travel to surrounding communities. This role involves providing compassionate, non-medical, in-home care to help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently. Caregivers will build meaningful relationships while providing exceptional care to seniors and veterans, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years of Caregiving Experience
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within a 20–25-mile radius
- Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, errands, and transportation to appointments
- Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Encouraging independence while supporting daily routines and activities
