About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver to provide care for a client in Lithonia, Georgia. The role involves helping clients with daily living activities and personal care, offering companionship and emotional support, and following care plans while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Candidates should be committed to providing safe, respectful, and quality care and treating each client with dignity, patience, and respect.

The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. The position is part-time and requires at least three years of caregiving experience. Requirements

• At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
• Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
• Driver's license.
• Social Security card.
• Negative TB test results.
• CPR/First Aid certificate.
• Car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
• Support safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and company policies.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
• Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
