About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers in Fort Washington, PA, particularly those residing near Hill Health & Rehabilitation Centre. This role is for individuals who enjoy helping others and desire work with a genuine purpose. The position focuses on providing companionship, personal care, assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation, all while adhering to client care plans and reporting any changes in client needs. The goal is to ensure clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Assist with walking, transfers, and everyday activities
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with errands and transportation when needed
• Follow each client’s care plan and preferences
• Notice and report changes in the client’s needs
• Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected
